IKEA
Visual Merchandiser / Store Designer
Since 2021 I have been a Visual Merchandiser / Store Designer at IKEA, where I design and implement aesthetic displays to promote products and drive sales to increase. The role involves overseeing ongoing projects from start to finish; initial conceptual planning, mood boards and product selection, digital design and final implementation whilst project managing. Projects range from designing displays for seasonal launches to department rebuilds.
My background in Fine Art has given me the fundamentals of art and design which has led my current role in interior design display. The fast paced nature of this role requires brainstorming innovative concepts quickly and exciting methods of displaying them; storytelling through visually impactful displays. Using Revit 3D design software and CNC programming allows me to materialise a thought into a vision.
See below examples of projects I have been a part of, showing the process from planning to production.
